UMBC Biol302L: Genetics Lab

      After running agarose gel electrophoresis, we made sure that we have a sequence at the right base pair. With those sequence, we run the Blastn and Blastx to compare our obtained sequence to original E.coli sequence. On the behalf of all members, Yoo Moon�s sequence was used for Blastn and BlastX.       A mutation occurred at position 43 of the subject which is the real amino acid sequence. Query is the sequence Yoo got. The real amino acid sequence has lysine, but this lysine is replaced with threonine on my sequence. It is a big difference.
